They lived for the thrill of combat and were renowned for taking hundreds of lives with their own skill and strength. After death, they were elevated into spirits who still take great gratification in combat. They can bestow upon their human great courage, strength, quickness, and stamina. They are also highly protective of their human and make excellent bodyguards. They can be any gender.
