Royal Gaurd Merfolk. Light Warriors, Keep the Peace, Loving and Attentive

These entities can be found near kingdom gates, entrances, guarding royalty and portals from treacherous intent. They are attractive but mighty in combat and loyalty protecting with everything they have. Though there are more mermen guards it seems than mermaids, females do get granted this role. They have the same positive energy as other merfolk but are on the quieter side being focused on their duty. When they feel that there is no negative threats around they can lighten up, being jovial talkers and affectionate. They can annhilate threats and are careful when handling the emotions of their companion. Most have a need to shelter and dote as this is how most Merfolk are with with humanity who they have affection for but their career and training in the art of combat makes them extra cautious for your sake.
